Fantastic Four Review
For the game, not the movie.
Although I did enjoy the movie. Even though they messed up some major parts (please tell me why it is that when they make a movie about a superhero they can’t just tell the origin without changing it?!?), it was still a fun ride. It’s no Spider-Man 2, but it sure was better than Hulk or Elektra.
Anyway, the game had some fun moments, but was ultimately just a beat-’em-up, which seems like a cop-out when you’ve got four superheroes to utilize. Ah, well.
Did they mess up the origin story in Batman: Begins?
They fiddled with it, but it's hard to mess up "parents get killed, kid decides to fight crime." They fiddled around with little details, like they were leaving an opera instead of a Zorro movie when they were killed, but it was mostly the same.
Well written review. I'm glad I have someone like you to guide me through the morass of video games available for my kids.
I'm looking forward to The Fantastic Hulkectraman, the sequel to all 4 movies you referenced in this post. I've heard that they're toying with the title, and they may actually use The Fantastic ElectraHulk Spider, which I assume would require some changes to the plot.
