Lego Batman 2 Review

Did you know I still occasionally write game reviews?  I know, it was a surprise to me, too.  I have written for DEN for a little over 6 years now, but the last couple of years have been sparse.  That’s partly my own fault, but it’s also because DEN has changed focus a little bit. It’s more movies than games now, and even though I love movies, I stink at reviewing them.  Everything ends up the same “Yeah, I enjoyed it.” A movie has to be really bad for me to dislike it.  I prefer reviewing games because there are so many more avenues to explore with them.

My latest review is of Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. I absolutely love the Lego games, so I had been looking forward to playing this one from the moment I heard about it. I won’t ruin the review for you, but it’s a Lego game that stars Batman, so you might be able to guess what I thought of it.

Baja Review

Yes, I still write reviews for DEN. My latest one is about an offroad racing game that, if it were a person, would have slapped me around, taken my lunch money, and put me into a garbage can head-first.

In the review I mention Sisyphus (not the TMNT character), Mts. Everest & Kilimanjaro, and quote Caddyshack. Hopefully that will make up for the shortness of it.

Read it here, if you like.

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith Review

I know, I know – I haven’t posted in forever, and it’s über-lame to come back and only have a link to a review. I’ve been a little busy, what with trying to buy a house and all. This was the last game I was able to play before my Xbox 360 went all RROD on me. It’s getting repaired, but it’ll be a few weeks yet.

For what it’s worth, I miss blogging when I don’t do it for a while. It seems the longer you go without doing it, the harder it is to get back into it. I may need to do another Beatles Week or something just to get kickstarted.
