Point Of No Return

I hope you’ve had a good Thanksgiving and remembered all the good things that have happened to you in the last year. I took some time out to do that myself, and it was extra-nice to be included in a friend’s remembrances via phone call.

Aside from that, though, I’ve been sick all day. All week, really, but it started getting worse last night. I slept fitfully and woke up hardly able to breathe. Luckily Meijer was open today and I was able to get some medicine. Dayquil got me through a good portion of the day.

I should have taken some NyQuil about an hour ago, but I resisted it. Oh, I needed it. The sniffing and the hard to breathe started long ago. I knew NyQuil would help, but it seems so final. Once I’ve taken it, I’ve got a half hour to an hour or so before I start to get a little loopy and fuzzy-headed. On top of that, it’s some of the nastiest stuff a person can ingest willingly. I always want to follow it up with something else, but I’m afraid of diluting its power or something.

I finally took some about five minutes ago, so I should sleep pretty well tonight. If you happen to call after I’ve gone to sleep I might answer, but it might be weird for you. Consider yourself warned.

I'm a big fan of the NyQuil geltabs. Same alcohol-full, coma inducing medication without the harsher than a shot of Jaegermeister flavor. Feel better soon!

NyQuil is the single greatest invention ever.

Sadly, NyQuil is 60% less powerful than it used to be.

    Stupid college students.

    The Obscure is aptly named.
